CRA’s very own, Jeff Andrews, recently served as the broker representing pickleball brand Dill Dinkers, bringing an exciting new recreational option to the Winston-Salem community. As pickleball continues its surge in popularity, Dill Dinkers has distinguished itself by offering a fully indoor weather-proof experience for year-round enjoyment. The courts are an ideal destination for both seasoned pickleball athletes and newcomers looking to explore a new hobby.

What began as a single idea has quickly evolved into one of the most talked-about franchises in the pickleball space. Founders Denise and Will Richards discovered their passion for pickleball during the pandemic. After visiting an indoor facility that lacked proper maintenance, they saw an opportunity to create something better. Denise’s thirty years of experience in sales and Will’s background in franchising Domino’s stores and leading non-profit organizations gave them the expertise needed to turn their idea into a thriving business. They opened the first Dill Dinkers location in Columbia, Maryland, in the fall of 2022. Currently, there are twenty-eight locations across thirteen states, with many more currently in development.

The Winston-Salem location, coming in early June of 2026, will showcases ten indoor courts including eight regulation-sized courts and two championship courts. The facility also features a private event space capable of hosting up to forty guests for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, team-building events, and corporate gatherings.

"Winston-Salem is gaining a fantastic resource that promotes both health and community.  The CRA team is excited for the opening, and we can’t wait to book a court" - Jeff Andrews.

In addition to court rentals, the club offers classes, clinics, leagues, and tournaments designed for all skill levels. Its membership program delivers half-price court fees, the ability to reserve courts five days earlier than non-members, complimentary access to the ball machine, and further discounts on leagues, clinics, tournaments, and merchandise.

With innovative leadership, strong momentum, and strategic support from partners like CRA, Dill Dinkers is shaping the future of indoor pickleball. Winston-Salem marks an exciting addition to their growing network, and we’re proud to be part of their continued success.
